Icefall Ski Touring Weeks

Remote backcountry ski touring lodge nestled in the Canadian Rockies, north of Golden, British Columbia. Deep powder, steep trees, ski summits, long runs and spectacular glaciers make this the best ski holiday in the world.  The remote location ensures no other skiers, just the group you came with. No other commercial operations such as heliskiing are allowed in the tenure area.A deep, reliable snowpack. Located on the western side of the divide, the high peaks to the east provide the lifting that results in huge snowfalls. The many glaciers surrounding the lodge are evidence of the consistently deep snowpack.

Guided and Catered Ski Weeks

Guided Ski touring Week This is the ultimate ski touring holiday. Deep powder, comfortable lodge, local guide, cook, and gourmet meals; all you have to do is show up and ski. You will be sharing the lodge with a small group of friends in a remote wilderness setting. Having a guide will ensure that you get the best ski week possible. Their familiarity with the area will allow you to comfortably travel to some of the farther corners of Icefall's huge area.

Self Guided Skiing

Groups are allowed to book Icefall lodge without a guide. All group members of a self guided group should be comfortable making decisions regarding their safety backcountry skiing. You can book a self guided week as a partial group or a full group booking the whole lodge. 

Hut to Hut Traverse

March 27- April 3, April 10-17, April 17- 24 2016

The Icefall Traverse is a guided hut to hut traverse through some of the best ski touring terrain in Canada. You can travel through high glacier terrain past some of the highest peaks in the range carrying only a light pack. This may sound like the Haute Route or other tours in the Alps. The only difference is that you won’t see anybody else around, just the group that you flew in with. 

Women's Wellness Week

April 25- May 2, 2015

A week of backcountry ski touring, yoga, good company and healthy food. You will share a remote, helicopter accessed lodge with a small group. Spring skiing, mild temperatures and long days will make this a much more relaxed pace than a winter week. The all woman group will be guided by ACMG Ski Guide Emelie Stenberg. Yoga will be taught by Master Yogini Francesca Ter Poorten.
